Per motivi tecnici non ci è possibile pubblicare le mod sul nostro sito, quindi probabilmente per scaricare alcune mod sarà necessario registrarsi al sito L4Y. Inoltre è presente qui un database completo con i mod più importanti di Max Payne 2.
1) Scarica il file del mod. (solitamente in archivio rar o zip)
2) Estrai l'archivio nella cartella principale del gioco (le mod per Max Payne 2 hanno estensione .mp2m)
3) Avvia Max Payne 2 e dal menu a tendina sotto "Scegli partita personalizzata" scegli la mod e premi su Gioca.


7th Serpent: Crossfire is the opening chapter of the 7th Serpent Single-Player Mod for the Max Payne 2 game engine, thrusting players into a world of corruption, secrecy and vengeance. You will control Damon Pryce, the first genetically-engineered prototype of a covert program from a giant biotech corporation contracted by the Military to create soldiers with super-human capabilities. The entire 7th Serpent project represents several years of development time from a team comprised of highly skilled modders and professional game developers. This first chapter promises unusually high production values with custom Graphic Novel artwork, a full blown orchestral score from a successful Hollywood composer, talented voice-acting and entirely new 3d modeling and texturing assets done in near-futuristic aesthetic that heavily deviates from Max Payne 2. The gameplay features exciting cinematic flair-laden sequences with non-stop action that push the envelope of what you have come to expect from a Single-Player Mod. You will get to fight HUMVEES, Armored Personal Carriers, military tanks, choppers and massive loads of military and police troops. It is to be a grueling, bloody and very personal affair.

- Redid Max's jacket skin, ugly jacket glitch almost completely gone now

- Additional sounds for when enemies scream in pain after being shot

- Added new weapon slot, slot 7, moved minigun to new weapon slot. YOU
MUST GO INTO THE COMBAT PORTION OF THE CONTROL SETUP MENUS AND DEFINE A
KEY FOR SLOT 7 TO USE THE MINIGUN.
- Pistol whip melee attack replaced with brass knuckles
- Bullet time regeneration mechanics reworked. Base bullet time is 60
seconds, regenerating from empty to full in 35 seconds. Each kill you
get in bullet time will give you either 6 or 9 seconds of bullet time,
depending on enemy difficulty.
